Join the Illinois College Music Department for an evening of jazz
The Illinois College Music Department will present its Jazz Ensemble spring concert on Friday, April 19, at 7:30 p.m. in McGaw Fine Arts Center’s Sibert Theatre.

From Latin tunes and swing, to rock and funk, there is sure to be something for everyone. The Illinois College Jazz Band will be joined by several special guests including the Clarinet Choir, the Saxophone Quartet and the Chamber Singers.

“Don't miss this entertaining mix of well-known jazz standards, modern hits from Adele, some ragtime, a little bit of 80s pop and plenty of cowbell,” Abby Musgrove, Jazz Ensemble director, said.

The 15-piece group plays a wide variety of popular music and blends in a vocal accompaniment by students. The Jazz Ensemble is made up of music majors and minors as well as non-music students who simply enjoy playing music.

The concert is free and open to the public.
