Summary
This part-time position provides support to the Office of the Registrar maintaining academic records and preparing transcripts. The ideal candidate possesses excellent customer services skills, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task while providing assistance to faculty, staff, students, parents, and alumni.

Essential Functions
•    Report to the Registrar
•    Provide excellent customer service to those seeking information and assistance from the Office
      electronically, by phone and in person
•    Effectively utilize the software which manages student academic records, ensuring their
      integrity and appropriate confidentiality
•    Process requests for and prepare transcripts in a timely and highly accurate manner
•    Utilize Microsoft Office programs to manipulate data from the student information system
•    Participate in all aspects of registration
•    Comply with relevant laws and regulations (including FERPA) concerning academic records
•    Proofread documents and verify data on reports
•    Sort mail
    
Qualifications
•    Excellent customer service skills
•    Ability to multi-task while maintaining an outgoing and friendly manner in a fast-paced office
•    Ability to provide solutions using knowledge of Registrar Office’s functions to ensure
      requestor’s needs are met.
•    Uses good judgment in responding to requests, maintaining confidentiality, prioritizing
      responsibilities and deciding how best to help customers whether they are students, alumni,
      parents, faculty or other staff
•    Experience in an educational setting desired
•    Bachelor’s degree preferred
•    Excellent computer skills; prior experience working with databases preferred
