“Home for the Holidays” concert ushers in holiday season
The Illinois College Department of Music and IC Bands present “Home for the Holidays” on Saturday, December 1, at 7:30 p.m. in Rammelkamp Chapel.

The college’s Wind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Flute Choir and Clarinet Choir will join forces to present a varied program sure to usher in the holiday season in style. The concert will showcase music from here in the United States to songs from around the world. Titles and styles range from “Noël Suisse” to “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” to “Silent Night.”

The holiday concert is free and open to the public, and will be performed by the combined ensembles together with Andrew Salyer on the Hart Sesquicentennial Organ.

“Everyone will find music that means 'Home for the Holidays' for them,” Wind Ensemble Director Ann Marie Stahel said.
