Trick-or-treat through the residence halls and Alumni House


IIllinois College invites area children to a “Safe Trick-or-Treat” in many of the college’s residence halls, as well as the Alumni House on Halloween night, Wednesday, October 31.

Student Alumni Association members and Illinois College Office of Alumni staff will greet trick-or-treaters from 6 to 8 p.m. The alumni office is located in the Alumni House at 1201 Mound Avenue, the corner of Mound Avenue and Lincoln Avenue.

Illinois College residence halls participating in the annual “Safe Trick-or-Treat” include Ellis, Greene, Lincoln, Mundinger, Pixley, and Turner halls. The Illinois College Office of Residential Life “Safe Trick-or-Treat” will also be held from 6 to 8 p.m.

Founded in 1829, Illinois College is a residential liberal arts college fostering academic excellence rooted in opportunities for experiential learning while preparing students for lifelong success. The college is located in Jacksonville, Ill. With an enrollment of about 1,000 students, the college offers over 50 undergraduate programs and a Master of Arts in Education degree program.
