Illinois College invites you to hear “Voices of Breast Cancer” on Thursday, October 25, at 7:30 p.m. in Cummings Dining Hall.
Breast cancer is a disease that touches many members in the community. This program aims to raise awareness of the importance of early detection, share personal stories of strength and hope, and how we can support loved ones who are battling the disease.
This breast cancer awareness program will feature a health care provider to discuss early detection, a young woman in her 20s who is currently fighting breast cancer, a breast cancer survivor, and a counselor who will discuss the emotional stress of breast cancer.
This presentation is free and open to the public. Funding is provided by Passavant Area Hospital and the Mia Ware Foundation.
