Students to showcase their work at IC writing conference

Illinois College students will be presenting their papers at the 15th annual Illinois College Undergraduate Conference on Writing (ICUCOW) on Tuesday, March 27, Crispin Lecture Hall at 7 p.m.

The writing conference will feature seven students that were selected by a blind jury review. The students who will be presenting their papers are senior Sarah Siemer; sophomores Jasper Brown, Jessica Potter and Ciara Sweatman; and first-year students Kyle Coleman, Brittany Spaulding and Lauren Watson.

The ICUCOW is a yearly event sponsored by the Campus Writing Center at which Illinois College students present their written work to the campus community. The conference accepts submission from all disciplines, and cash prizes are awarded to the best papers.

The public is encouraged to attend this free event. Refreshments will be served.
