Fine Arts Series finale features Baroque Band

The Illinois College Fine Arts Series comes to an end with a return performance by Chicago’s period-instrument orchestra "Baroque Band" on Friday, March 23, at 7:30 p.m. in Rammelkamp Chapel.

"Baroque Band" has gained a reputation as one of the most exciting of its kind in the United States. Founded in 2007 by British baroque violinist Garry Clarke, the band has rapidly established itself as an important member of Chicago’s musical community. A Chicago Tribune columnist hailed the group as one of the most important developments in the Windy City’s classical music scene for the decade.

Tickets for the concert cost $15. The concert series offers free admission to students of all ages, regardless of where they attend school. Call 217.245.3069 or for complete ticket information.
