Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science. Illinois College announces a one-year position in American Politics beginning Fall 2012, with the possibility of renewal through Spring 2014. We seek a candidate able to offer a variety of courses on U.S. political institutions and processes. The ability to teach an introductory course in either or both research methodology or world politics will be a plus. The successful candidate must be committed to and able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and research. He/she must understand and value the liberal arts and be prepared to contribute meaningfully to the College’s general education program as well. Teaching load is three courses per semester. Ph.D. in hand is highly preferred.
