Visiting Professor of Sociology. Illinois College announces a one-year visiting professor position beginning August 2012 through May 2013 in Sociology. We seek candidates with teaching experience in social statistics, research methods, and data collection. These courses will combine to work towards a new concentration in social statistics in the Department of Sociology. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Introduction to Social Science Methods, a 200-level social statistics course, and a 300-level course in Data Collection and Analysis. Ph.D. preferred, but ABD will be considered.
