Fall 2014 TRiO Workshop Schedule
Each semester, the TRiO program offers a series of workshops geared toward equipping TRiO students with the various tools and resources necessary to achieve their academic, career, and life goals. TRiO students are required to attend at least one TRiO workshops per semester and and one financial literacy workshop per year.

FALL 2014 SCHEDULE

1) Saturday, September 6th: 8:30-1:00, Schewe 210
    INSPIRE Mentor Workshop
    Learn about the new TRiO Mentor program, INSPIRE. Lunch included! 
 
2) Tuesday, September 16th: 7:00-8:00, Kirby 6
    College Athlete Academic Success Panel
    Coaches and former athletes discuss how they balanced the demands of college and athletics.
 
3) Wednesday, September 24th: 7:00-8:00, Kirby 108
    What Now?
    What do you do now so that you're ready for graduation? Suggested for Juniors and Seniors

    Information and hand-on tools for managing your loans and planning your financial future.

    Understanding the Blueprint
    Come find out what the IC Blueprint is all about before Spring semester registration begins.
 
6) Tuesday, October 28th: 7:00-8:00, Kirby 108
    Major/Career Exploration
    Join us for this fun session on choosing a path that is right for you!
 
7) Wednesday, November 5th: 7:00-8:00, Kirby 108
    LinkedIn and Social Media
    Learn the best way to market yourself online. Come dressed to take your professional photo.
 
8) Thursday, November 13th: 7:00-8:00, Baxter 102
    Taking Control of Your Financial Aid Award and Billing Situation.
    A hands-on session to help you better understand and determine your financial aid award and bill.

    COM 101 Series
    Come learn about important communication skills necessary to make the right impression, improve relationships, and solve problems!

      TRiO TREATS!!
