Outside Scholarship Deadlines in September 2017

Deadline: 9/1/2017. Applicants are required to submit an approximate 750-word essay that is a thoughtful, well-reasoned perspective of legislation that is in need of reform. This scholarship is offered to any student currently enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program in the United States. All eligible candidates must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. For more information, please visit the scholarships website. $500
 
Deadline: 9/1/ 2017. Currently enrolled graduate or undergraduate students at an accredited university in the US with a minimum GPA of 3.0 are eligible to apply. To apply, students must write an essay explaining their views on The Impact of Connected Technology on Society. The essay should be between 1,300 and 1,500 words. Deadline: 9/1/2017. Currently enrolled students studying hospitality management, marketing, management, business, or a related field with a minimum 3.5 GPA are encouraged to submit an essay discussing their fundamental principles.  $1,000

Deadline: 9/1/2017. Foreign born students who now reside in the US or a US born student whose parents originated from another country and encouraged to submit a 450 word essay discussing immigration reform. $1,000
 
Deadline: 9/1/2017. Incoming college students are invited to write an essay discussing how your education will serve your community.  Students must also submit a short video introducing themselves.  $1,000
 
Deadline: 9/1/2017. Incoming and currently enrolled college students with a minimum 3.0 GPA are invited to submit a 4 - 5 minute video explaining the benefits of online learning. $400
 
Deadline: 9/8/2017.  Students are encouraged to write a 600 - 800 word essay.  Five topics are provided on website.  Three scholarships will be awarded. $1,000
 
Deadline: 9/17/2017. Students are encouraged to write a 300 - 400 word essay about their favorite childhood book. $1,500

Deadline: 9/30/2017. Undergraduate students studying engineering, business, management, or a related field are encouraged to submit a 1000 - 1500 word essay discussing technology that will revolutionize residential construction.  Students must have a minimum 3.5 GPA. $1,000
 
Deadline: 9/30/2017. Female students are encouraged to submit a short essay discussing healthy student lifestyle or non-toxic skin care. $500
 
Deadline: 9/30/2017.  Students should write a 500 - 1000 word essay discussing the importance of cleaning and organizing the living space for their family. $500
 
Deadline: 9/30/2017. Students should submit a 700+ word essay discussing future smart homes.  Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. $500
 
Deadline: 9/30/2017. Students with a minimum 2.5 GPA are encouraged to write a 250 - 500 word essay about what makes their city or town unique and provide an overview of the job market that is unique within the city. $3,000
