Deadline:  9/1/2016.  StateLine Dentistry is offering a scholarship to all students pursuing a future in dentistry. This scholarship is merit based and requires an essay submission of at least 600 words that answers the question, ”How Would You Solve the Need for Better Dental Care in Rural America.” Further information on this scholarship can be reached by viewing it's website. $500  
Deadline: 9/1/2016. Candidates must be enrolled in a post-secondary U.S. institute for the 2016 school year, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, have a demonstrated need for financial aid, and be of African-American or Hispanic descent to be eligible for this scholarship. In order to participate the student must submit an essay 1,000 words in length describing the applicant's personal situation as a minority with a single mother, the impact that it has had on their life, and how they overcome these challenges. Deadline: 9/2/2016. In order to apply for this scholarship, the student must attend an accredited college/university for the 2016 year and provide proof of their enrollment. To participate, the student must create a YouTube video that is at least five minutes in length explaining why tungsten rings are better than other forms of metal and why so many men are choosing them. In addition to the video, the student must also write a 1000+ word essay about their goals in life, why they are attending college, and what wedding band they would want to wear when getting married. Deadline: 9/30/2016. Any student who is currently enrolled in a high school, trade school, college or university is able to apply for this scholarship. To participate, the student must create a video that is less than 5 minutes then upload the video to YouTube with the title, "Bella Bathrooms Scholarship Program." Deadline: 9/30/2016. All students who are at least 18 years or older who have gay or lesbian foster/ adoptive parents is invited to apply for this scholarship. In order to participate, the student must write 500-650 words supporting this prompt, "My adoptive/foster parent is gay/lesbian and I wouldn't change it." Deadline: 9/30/2016. Students over the age of 18 who are majoring/minoring in Business is encouraged to apply for this scholarship. Deadline: 9/30/2016. Students are encouraged to submit a 500 word essay discussing your best money-saving tips for college.  Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be a U.S. Citizen.  $5,000
Deadline:  9/30/2016.   Students majoring in any form or health career is eligible to apply. The student must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, have one Latino parent, and permanently reside in Illinois.
