Technical Info
Thanks to the generosity of the Trustees of Illinois College and the industriousness/expertise of our designer/technical director, Craig Steenerson, Sibert Theatre has undergone a technological transformation.

We replaced the old analog lighting system from the proscenium to the back of the house, doubling our dimmer capacity. The remaining dimmers on the electrics behind the proscenium were refurbished. We also purchased a lift to assist us with lighting. The sound system got a makeover as well, and it was Craig's assistance in installation that allowed us to achieve our goals. The new speakers, including subwoofers, mean we can handle powerful bass. With new cabinetry, amplifiers, and 15 mic jacks, we are ready for the spring musical!
