Illinois College is proud to offer the Heritage Scholarship Program — a competitive, merit-based scholarship that will recognize and reward the academic accomplishments of high school students attending high schools in these 38 counties:

The Heritage Scholarship is an annual, renewable scholarship ranging from $11,000 to $16,000. The award amount is renewable for up to eight semesters of study at Illinois College.
Students attending a high school in an eligible county must be nominated by their high school counselor, principal, school superintendent or an Illinois College alumni educator to be considered for this award.
To be eligible for nomination, students must meet at least two of the following three criteria:
:: Rank in the top 10% of their high school graduating class
:: Have an ACT composite score of 25 or higher
:: Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4-point scale
Application Process and Deadlines for Students Enrolling Fall 2013
:: School nomination forms must be received by Illinois College no later than October 15, 2012.

Each student interested in being considered for this scholarship opportunity must:
:: Submit an application for admission to Illinois College. The application must be postmarked or
sent electronically no later than the Early Action deadline of December 15. All required
admission materials must be received by this date.
:: Request release of test scores from either ACT or SAT. (Scores may be presented on an
official high school transcript or submitted directly from the testing agencies.)
:: Visit the Illinois College campus and meet with a member of the admission staff. The personal
visit is an important part of the scholarship selection process. All visits must be completed by
December 15.
Heritage Scholarship awards will be announced on
January 15, 2013.
