What is ICUCOW?

ICUCOW is Illinois College's own Undergraduate Conference of Writers. Held annually in the spring, the conference exists to celebrate writing from across the curriculum by allowing students from any and all majors to submit their writing in the hopes of being selected to present in front of an audience of students, professors, staff, and the public. Any and all papers are considered: poetry, fiction, non-fiction, research, and prose from Illinois College classes, literary societies, and clubs.

Sponsored by the Campus Writing Center, ICUCOW is almost entirely run by students. Students provide the writing, vote on which pieces to include in the conference, help each other proofread and edit, and read the finished product. For those looking to submit papers to conferences in the future, ICUCOW is a great place to start.

No matter your major, no matter the genre, ICUCOW audiences are looking forward to experiencing your writing!
