Peer-review Guidelines
Theatre 130
Nancy Taylor Porter
Illinois College

Peer review is to be done outside of class:

What's the thesis?
What's the student's definition of tragedy?
Summarize the supporting arguments. Are they compelling? Are they developed
enough? How might they be developed further?
What oppositional arguments are considered?
Does the writer cite Miller accurately?
How could the writer better organize the material?
What sentences are unclear?
What grammatical or mechanical errors are there?
What's the best part of the paper?
What other problems does the student need to address in order to write the best essay possible?
