IC Explorer Internship Description Rammelkamp Bradney Law Firm Jacksonville, IL – Fall Semester Internship The Rammelkamp Bradney Law firm in downtown Jacksonville has a long history with Illinois College. Students who are interested in pursuing a career in law and intend to enroll in law school would benefit from this internship. The student intern would be engaged in a variety of tasks related to the practice of law in Central Illinois, thereby allowing him/her a unique opportunity to learn more about the legal profession. Interns may have the opportunity to assist with legal research using Westlaw and the law library, draft documents, file motions at the Morgan County Courthouse, prepare summons and complaints, and draft articles of incorporation for nonprofit organizations, among other duties. This internship takes place during the fall semester for approximately 10-12 hours per week and is flexible around the student’s course schedule. If there is sufficient need by the site the internship could continue through the spring semester.
