Monday, October 4: “Extreme Storm Chasing,” IC Connections convocation by storm chaser Reed Timmer, 11 a.m., Rammelkamp Chapel.

Thursday, October 7 - Sunday, October 10: Illinois College Fall Break. Classes will not meet.

Saturday, October 16: Illinois College Homecoming Parade, 10 a.m. The parade begins at the Illinois College Walkway intersection with Park Street, continues north to College Avenue, heads east along College Avenue, turns north on South Church Street, east on West Douglas Avenue and disbands in front of the Jacksonville Municipal Building.

Saturday, October 16: Illinois College Homecoming Buffet Luncheon for alumni, parents and friends, 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., Homecoming Celebration Tent, Abraham Lincoln Hall parking lot. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 5-12, children 4 and younger are free.

Sunday, October 17: Illinois College Memorial Service for former President Donald C. Mundinger, 2:30 p.m., Rammelkamp Chapel.

Sunday, October 31: Illinois College Residential Life Safe Trick-or-Treat, 5-7 p.m. Lincoln, Fayerweather, Pixley, Ellis, Turner and Gardner halls. In addition, Greene Hall will offer a haunted lobby for trick-or-treaters. A canned good to benefit the Jacksonville Food Bank will serve as the entry fee.
