Get Involved in Homecoming
Homecoming is a unique and important week full of events designed to celebrate the spirit of Illinois College. The homecoming committee is responsible for planning and executing almost all of the festivities – which are some of the largest events at Illinois College. Join the Homecoming committee and be a part of something BIG!

Why should you get involved?
Members of the homecoming committee help make important decisions about the week. They will gain valuable skills to use in a future career, other student organizations and academic studies. Members will learn about managing a budget, how to create effective promotional materials, what it takes to achieve success and how to be a valuable leader, all while having fun planning out the week!

What does membership involve?

Homecoming is only four short weeks away from the start of classes so we ask for each member to come to meetings and actively participate in discussions, decision making and the creation of necessary materials. Members will need to attend general committee meetings and potential subcommittee meetings that may be planned during the week. These subcommittee meetings will be set at a time that works around member schedules.

If you have any questions, or if you are concerned about the time commitment or other responsibilities, homecoming committee will be at the Involvement Fair and will have an Informational Session, Wednesday at 8 p.m. You can also contact the student directors, Amanda Moore or Hannah Simms, or advisor, Kelly Cross.
