Step 1 :: Submit free application for admission
:: Download and Print the Paper Application
(Application may be mailed or emailed to admissions@ic.edu.)

Step 2 :: Print and submit Secondary School Report to your guidance department
:: High school counselors will then need to submit form with transcript

Step 3 :: Request Official High School Transcript to be sent to IC
:: High school transcripts must include coursework completed through at least junior year

Step 4 :: Submit ACT and/or SAT test scores
:: Standardized test scores are not required for admission to Illinois College. If a student enrolls
at Illinois College, test scores must be submitted prior to registration to assist in appropriate
      course placement and scheduling.
:: Illinois College codes: ACT: 1034 or SAT and TOEFL: 1315

Application review begins when all items are complete.

The Admission Committee reviews each applicant's academic record, extracurricular activities, recommendations and personal essay for evidence of academic and intellectual integrity, the ability to communicate effectively and the ability to foster tolerance and respect for fellow members of the Illinois College family and the community. The admission process is selective, with only those students with a strong likelihood of success being offered admission.
Admission Dates and Notification
For full scholarship consideration, students should apply by December 15. Candidates who wish to be considered for the Illinois College Trustee Scholarship Program or who have been nominated for the Illinois College Heritage Scholarship Program must have a complete application on file by this date.

Admission applications and other merit scholarship consideration are reviewed on an ongoing basis as space in the class allows. Merit scholarships are awarded on the basis of a student’s overall academic performance, standardized testing results, and personal involvement in both school and community.

Illinois College operates a modified rolling admission process. Students may begin to submit their applications in the summer prior to their senior year in high school. Files will be reviewed beginning in late October with the first round of decisions being sent out in early November. From that date, decisions are mailed weekly.
