Why do you need an NT Account?

Every Illinois College faculty and staff member is assigned an NT login name and a network drive when they start working for Illinois College. The NT login name is used to securely log into the network to access and save files that faculty and staff will keep from others eyes. Faculty and staff will save these files to their network drives. The information on the network drives is backed up every business day.

For faculty to obtain their NT account information they can contact the Office of the Dean of the College.  Staff may contact their supervisor.
